It was irene who inquire first thru email, sumunod nun si toto (palayaw ng groom) na ang nag follow up on design, shade etc, our first meeting was at caleruega, dahil since he worked in tagaytay as an engineer, i told him na magkita nalang kami sa church para makita nya ang bride ko that day.....and the rest is history.... This wedding is one year in the making.... can`t imagine from irene's first fitting last year, and when she arrive before holy week ay saka ko na realize na ikakasal na pala sila...Sa tagal naming nag exchange ng emails ni irene and texts with toto diko namalayan na nagkaroon ako ng panibagong kaibigan... i`ll truly missed them....
March 28, 2007 Photo: Ems Chua (Van Goth Photography) & Jayson Arquiza (Redefine Weddings) Actually Ems works for Jayson that day, pero inuna ko pangalan ni Ems sa billing dahil ladies first daw eh.... hehehhe Video: Jezreel Cruz Church: Word of Hope Church Preps: Edsa Shangri-la Hotel Reception: Fernwood Gardens HMUA: Val Villarin OTD: Janice Dadap, Classic Unlimited
Groom: Black tux, silver vest, aqua tie
Bride / Silhouette: Irene's gown was a combination of 3 designs, a natural waisted tube gown with two front slit in duchess, a 5 meter detachable train and a bolero that was inspired from a Victorian drama that looks like a cobweb that made from a wired bugle beads... the outcome of the bolero is somewhat like an empress....its more on an avant garde theatrical chuvaness... Originally her bolero was suppose to be a see thru material, pero sabi ko kay irene na gagawa ako ng kakaibang bolero, kasi halos yata ng bride sa PILIPINAS gusto mag bolero... gusto ko ng umiyak, feeling ko FACTORY AKO NG MGA BOLERO... ayokong ulitin ang telang bolero dahil lahat ng variations ng gantong design ay nagawa na ng friendship kong si VELUZ... Kaya i come up with this theatrical bolero.... O diba, kakaiba, hehehehe Ngayon dahil na challenge ako, watch out for my next bride who will be wearing an original kind of bolero.... Pwess ang gawin ko sa susunod ay lambat ng isda, coconut husks, driftwood at marami pang iba... hehehhehehhehe...Joke!!!
